Beverley Knight MBE is the Queen of British Soul. She began writing her own songs at the age of 13. At the age of 21 she signed her first record deal with Dome Records and shortly afterwards produced her first major hit soul album ‘The B-Funk’. She went on to write the hit singles - ‘Get Up’ and ‘Shoulda Woulda Coulda’ amongst many others and she was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2002. She continued to write prolifically releasing platinum selling albums and collaborating with artists including Prince and Take That. She is also an active campaigner for many charities including ‘The Terrence Higgins Trust’ and ‘The White Ribbon Alliance’ for safe Motherhood. She also began an incredibly successful career as a stage actress starring in the musical adaptation of The Bodyguard and in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats. Beverley has just released a single with Gary Barlow ‘Enough is enough’. Listen Here!
